The unisex Swedish shoe brand Eytys has launched a digital art project in a multi-collaboration with contemporary Irish artist Jennifer Mehigan and South African photographer Kristin-Lee Mollman. Styled by Martina Almquist, “Luv Crimez” is one big mash-up of Eytys AW16 shoe collection and a group of colourful Stockholm locals juxtaposed with Mehigan’s explosive and experimental cyberpunk computer-generated artwork and illustrations.
Highlighting the attraction of weirdness, the video collage is part of Mehigan’s signature work of “cybersensuality”, a key theme reflected throughout her blend of digital and physical art and social media channels. Her signature work fuses digital craftsmanship with contemporary fine art and has been exhibited globally from her her home in Singapore, and all major European capitals including Berlin.
