Fine Arts Paris Returns

The world is moving forward and so is the Paris Fine Art Fair.

After an exceptionally successful launch of its online version in 2020, the fair will continue with the online space in addition to the reintroduction of the physical. It seems that the future of fine art is to bring the two spaces in sync, giving people access to this culture, regardless of their geographical location.

"Agar et Ismaâl", L'Horizon Chimerique Locatelli

During the fair’s existence, it has established itself as Paris’ leading specialist in its niche of antiquity to modern art. Now, after being solemnly online for the past season, Paris Fine Art is back for its fifth edition, located at the iconic carousel of the Louvre. The fair presents an exceptional selection of drawings, paintings, ancient sculptures, old masters of the 20th Century, along with fine jewellery and rare books from Western as well as Non-Western art scenes. This year, more is more as the fair brings together 60 exhibitors in total with 17 of them being first-time participants.

"Pomerantz les mois manufacture Dufour", Carolle Thibaut, 1808

Uniting the most prominent dealers in the art field, the Paris Fine Art Fair features distinctive highlights including a unique 12th to 14th Century BC Jia-shaped vase from the Shang Dynasty, presented by Galerie Christian Deydier and a noteworthy feminist painting by Marguerite Gerard, who was a witness to the gradual emancipation of women throughout the 18th Century.

"ART ET AUTOGRAPHES", Sartre

In the list of recognisable names,  French interior designer and decorator Jacques Garcia pays his contribution to the fair by designing the entire set, much of it inspired by the 14th Century defence system of when the carousel was first built.  With his unique style, he connects the set and the artworks right at the scene under the notable glass pyramid – the Louvre.
