Merging the inspiration of diaspora street culture and images, the two friends Hussein Suleiman, the co-founder of Daily Paper, and Steve John Irby, the co-founder of Street Dreams Magazine connected through a mutual interest. Back in the blogging era in 2008, the two like-minded individuals connected.

Fast forward more than a decade later, they watched themselves blossom and now, they are returning in a joint collaboration. Filling the gaps, Sweet Dreams Magazine is a publication based across New York, Vancouver and Tokyo. Serving as a minimalistic canvas sharing visual work from photographers based all around the world, the brand is publishing a magazine, hosting gallery exhibitions and art shows. Meeting at the common ground of celebrating creativity across borders, this campaign is expressing their shared vision. Shot in the concrete jungle of dreams in New York City and the contrasting wilderness in Vancouver, these visuals express the versatility of the collection.

Transporting their cultural knowledge into garments, the collection is a juxtaposition of progressive sportswear and futuristic outerwear. Underlining this sentiment in the silhouettes, the clothing is coloured in a black and green army colour combination with lilac detailing across the chest and back. Uniting timelessness and a fresh touch of avant-garde, these clothes are here to stay in fashion.
