It’s time to take advantage of a warm day in our beautiful Berlin spring to check out what’s going on at Potsdamer Strasse. A very special collaboration is worth a look: Andreas Murkudis and Dries Van Noten has joined forces for an in-store installation together with light manufacturer BOCCI
Andreas Murkudis has always been a fan of playful relationships and the museum atmosphere of the expansive industrial space showcase is the perfect place to host the photographic installation by Dries Van Noten. This collaboration is part of the Dries Van Noten Spring/Summer campaign, whose collection will be on sale in the ephemeral store at the same time.
Photographer Viviane Sassen brings this new collection to life. Her pictures play with light, imposing themselves on the 10-meter-high windows of the store, with the visionary films of New Zealander Len Lye in the background. A bunch of BOCCI lights complete the aesthetic framework. This play of light, movement and reflections gives the place a special psychedelic atmosphere. The photographic installation is also visible from the courtyard overlooking Potsdamer Strasse for those who do not wish to linger. Summer is here and it feels like it’s time to really and tangibly reconnect with art and fashion.
On view until end of July 2021 at Andreas Murkudis, Potsdamer Strasse 81, 10785
Opening Hours: Mon – Sat 11-19
