HAY-designed chair and Fraka bag
Hot on the heels of a recent collaboration with cult artist Katie Eary, IKEA is at it again. This time around the Swedish furniture brand announces two separate partnerships–the first with Danish label HAY as well as another with British designer Tom Dixon.
HAY gained fandom from interior decoration enthusiasts worldwide for their modern take on Danish design, while Tom Dixon became a household name among British families as a result of his geometric lamp fixtures. Together, each entity will incorporate its unique combination of form and function into the company’s iconic style. During the announcement, Ikea also revealed that their iconic blue and yellow Frakta tote would be getting a makeover in green and white. Both collections as well as the revamped shopping bag will be available August 2017.
