Watch The Hypnotic Trailer For Truth Or Dare

Things  are a little uneasy right now, don’t you think? Alternative facts, xenophobia, Brexit, Trump; how does the younger generation fit into a world that no longer makes sense? What is the role of art to try and make sense of it all? And will we ever stop looking at our phones long enough to do something about it?

Truth Or Dare From “Truth or Dare,” 2017 by Jonas Lindstroem

These are the questions asked in Truth Or Dare, the new short film from Jonas Lindstroem, which debuted as an installation last Thursday in Berlin. Here, he expresses the anxieties of the millennial age through 21 unique narratives. As mentioned recently, Lindstroem “wanted to condense these very specific actions and emotions into single, focused cinematic frames.” The overall aim is to create a fixed, united whole, in order to provide “emotional reassurance through physical experience” to a seemingly disconnected generation. It will show how moving forward will not rely on just one or two of us, but through a collective effort — perhaps being one of many cinematic salvos our generation needs.
