KENZO Folio is a new quarterly publication showcasing the brand’s collections in a fresh and unexpected way through the eyes of young creatives. The first issue sees the label commission curator and filmmaker Akinola Davies Jr. to create a project related to the theme of “ceremony”. Davies Jr. teamed up with photographer Ruth Ossai and stylist Ibrahim Kamara to create a visual exploration of Nigeria’s Nsukka population. The images feature pieces from KENZO SS17 combined and heavily accessorised to celebrate the culture of Nigerian and indigenous Igbo people.
