Lala Berlin x Lana Grossa Capsule Collection AW14
Leading knitwear designer Lana Grossa and quintessential Berlin label Lala Berlin are two examples of designers mastering their medium. Now for the first time, the two have teamed up to create a new vision of winter wear, in the collaborative Capsule Collection AW14.
In this first collaboration between Lala Berlin and Lana Grossa, the 31 strong part Capsule Collection AW14 is a an eclectic mix of cardigans, capes, jumpers, wooly hats, and scarves, ranging in colour from black and white to the other side of the colour spectrum, incorporating Lala’s keen eye for tone and her signature love for pattern. The pieces are a combination of hand-knitted techniques mixed with more traditional methods such as bonding, creating unique and avant-garde items rarely seen in the medium of knitwear.
Speaking about the special partnership, Lala Berlin designer, Leyla Piedayesh comments “for me personally, the capsule collection is a tribute to the material wool, its quality, and the inexhaustible craft that it is”.
Whilst we can’t stop the winter weather falling on the city, we can make sure that we are kept warm by some of the most exciting winter clothing the season has to offer.
