Leyla Piedayesh with models from Lala Berlin’s June presentation
Leyla Piedayesh knows a thing or two about how to spend a stylish weekend in the city. After all she’s the Creative Director of Lala Berlin whose penthouse presentation during Berlin Fashion Week drew the most stylish crowd in town with attendees including Veronika Heilbrunner, Camille Charrière and musician Lary. In an exclusive interview with SLEEK, Leyla took a moment to chat with us about her top summer tips for all things fashion and beauty in the German capital.

What she’s wearing this summer:
I love to pair a light-knit shirt with a tank top underneath; layering means I’m less likely to fall victim to Berlin’s unpredictable summer weather. On particularly hot days, I wear a slip dress and slide into my favourite sandals. At the moment I can’t seem to take off this pair from the Korean label Sue Comma Bonnie. They are the perfect amount of sporty and girly.

Her favourite summer beauty tip:
Open-toe shoes require pretty feet, so during the warmer months I always treat myself to a pedicure. Bright red nail polish is always a good choice since it’s both classic and universally flattering. Most importantly though is skin protection! I really like Kiehl’s Ultra Light Daily UV Defense SPF 50.
