Dutch blogger, Ivania Carpio, founded Love Aesthetics in 2008 with the intention of creating a digital space for her monochrome vision. She has since worked with Nick Knight, snagged a job as Vogue contributor and gained international recognition for her site. Originally concentrating on style, Carpio’s blog has evolved to include articles on beauty, clothing, DIY, travel and furniture. Indeed, her digital presence has also developed into an online boutique, Love Aesthetics Atelier, giving fans access to a carefully curated selection of coveted items and objects.
Striving to “create a world for herself that makes her feel inspired yet at ease”, photographer Romeo Pokomasse seemed like the perfect choice to help Carpio put her unique stamp on her two favourite designs by the high quality, Berlin-based premium shoe brand, Zign STUDIO. Knowing “that real outfits begin and end with the right shoes”, Zign STUDIO‘s footwear is styled by the Dutch it-girl, who also models for our shoot, proving to be a natural in front of the camera.
