The feeling of community is prevalent throughout Berlin. It runs through the veins of the city’s creative scene, across subcultures and transcends the bounds that may have once separated people before. From the community of female artists at the Tiny Art Market at Soho House, to the hedonistic group discussions on music as a means of reorganising sociality held at CTM Festival, Berlin is thriving with creativite opportunities where art, music and design gather under the umbrella of community.
The latest of Berlin’s community focused events that has caught our attention is LUNCHBOX CANDY – a party dedicated to creating a safe space where audiences can absorb themselves freely in a forward-thinking euphoria, filled with gender-bending sounds and performances. With a carefully curated selection of diverse talent from the LGBTQi+ community, LUNCHBOX CANDY is gaining grounds as Berlin’s best party around since their first instalment at ÆDEN in 2021.
This time around, LUNCHBOX CANDY will be gathering once again at ÆDEN on June 25th from 6pm til late, to celebrate the diversity of their community. The evening will begin with a private screening of Adam Munnings’ music video for Elninodiablo’s “Vaugahyde”, celebrating the release of the artists EP “Vaugahyde Remixes”. Meanwhile, the outside dancefloor welcomes Vio PRG – Flight Mode show operator on Refuge Worldwide – who will start the party with space-expanding blends of 90s-laced techno and Chicagoan house.
Other names on the line up include Sudha Kheterpal live with Elninodiablo, Theus Mago, Aurum Miles while hosts Phoenix Chase-Meares, Dustin Hanke, Guttergucci, Rainer Sellien, Alvin Collantes guarantee a night to remember.
Tickets are available for LUNCHBOX CANDY’s 4th Instalment at ÆDEN on June 25th from 6pm. Tickets are available through Resident Advisor.
