What do you get when you merge the American fashion designer Rick Owens and the Estonian rap artist Tommy Cash? Right, a perfect symphony of six exclusive NFT’s from Cash’s Mona Lisa Song. The NFT gifs were shown exclusively at the artist’s joint exhibition “The Pure and The Damned ” with Owens, which took place at the KUMU Art Museum in Tallinn back in 2019.
The artist and designer’s collaboration is not the first, since Owens’ feature on the recording of the song “Mona Lisa” Tommy Cash’s ¥ € $ album. The exhibition was dubbed as Cash’s visual manifesto, it showed photographs, installations, sculptures, and paintings, perfectly coherent with Owens’ garments, objects, and furniture.
The upcoming exclusive NFT is from the music video, which was created by the artist Scorpion Dagger (James Kerr). Six gifs from this video will be exclusively purchasable at an NFT auction, which will be implemented under the Russian company “New Digital Broker”.
Moreover, Tommy Cash is planning to hit the road again after his Covid hiatus, on February 10th, 2022, starting in San Francisco. After ticking off a dozen US cities, the rapper will head to Russia, as well as covering major European cities.
