In our “Me, Myself and Art” series, in collaboration with Samsung Galaxy Alpha, Sleek takes an immersive approach to the art world. Via the medium of writer and stylist Ella Plevin, and her shiny new Samsung Galaxy Alpha, we bring the art world to you in a uniquely personalised way, utilising performance, selfies and video to present new perspectives on the art scene.
Frieze ends tomorrow so this is last call to visit the circus at Regent’s Park. My highlights included Olivia Erlanger’s CNC carved graphite slabs and tumbling screen installation at the Fluxia booth, Jordan Wolfson’s slick pathos-laden panels at Sadie Coles and Villa Design Group’s booth-as sculpture with Berlin’s Mathew gallery. The Focus section was particularly strong this year.

Further down the Marylebone Road, treats at Sunday art fair included Aaron Angell’s ceramic sculptures for Rob Tufnell gallery, Puppies Puppies and Will Benedict at Detroit’s What Pipeline gallery and Florian Auer’s hovering resin and fabric wall pieces at Berlin’s Kraupa-Tuskany Zeidler.

Best hangover goes to resident London cutie Oscar Kahn for his moves on Monday night’s opening party and for filling up Efes Snooker Club during Wednesday’s post-Dalston post-internet unoffically-official (or should that be offical-unofficial?) Frieze drinkstravaganza.
