Paris-based photographer Yohann Truminski and stylist Alexandra Osina drew inspiration from the past for one of his most recent projects, a photo shoot emanating with a sultry, lose-your-inhibitions ethos. To evoke that vibe, Truminski tried to capture the feel and spirit of forbidden places from bygone eras, such as a bordello in an old Dutch port, where inner desires could be let loose.

The result is a collection of images that celebrate desire, expression, and the freedom to be yourself–no matter what the outside world thinks.
