Embarking on a visionary collaboration, the avant-garde Experience Design and Art Collective OBJ.Studio teamed up with Kia and birthed the “Anthropogenic Artefact: #001,” a digital scan of natural landscapes, soil, and plants that has been transformed back into a physical form to capture the character, the memories, and the beauty of nature. In order to create this 25x26x29 big masterpiece, the collaborators used cutting-edge technologies like photogrammetry and stereolithography resulting in abstract yet organic shapes.

During the creation of this artwork, the new Kia EV9 not only served as a loyal mobility partner and mobile studio, but also reliably supplied the collective with sufficient power in the middle of the forest to carry out complex scans. This collaboration underscores Kia’s commitment to sustainable and inspiring mobility and proves once again that the German-founded brand deserves the title of being the global leader in popularising electrified and battery-powered vehicles. Together, OBJ.Studio and Kia invite all to delve into the fascinating interplay between humanity, nature, and technology, challenging us to reevaluate our connection to the world around us.
