Porsche Design Event. Day 2
Porsche Design Sport by adidas has presented its collaborative collection in Berlin. To celebrate the occasion, the team had the opportunity to test the range’s performance in the mean streets of the German capital. The two-day event connected the sporty attendees, including SLEEK editors, to the throbbing pulse of the city via fitness experiences designed around two seasonal stories: Reflective Running and Outdoor Training.
The sportswear line fuses Porsche Design’s luxury aesthetic with the adidas innovations for the ultimate Berlin-ready athleisure collection. Featuring reflective elements that light up black clothing when dark, most pieces of the collection are a must have for those chilly jogging days in the city. “Reflectivity is a key seasonal story,” says Gert Benz, adidas Vice President Style Collaborations, “and something we have crafted to ensure that dark nights and cold weather do not affect training in winter.”
Day one: Running with Reflective Light Run Jacket
Challenge one: running 5km through Berlin wearing reflective jackets
The Reflective Light Run Jacket was the best apparel for a long run along east Berlin landmarks like former Wall. The super lightweight jacket is also water-repellent and highly reflective in the season’s standout Glacier Camou graphic. Slick and functional design features including a stand up collar, a drawcord-adjustable hem and small zip key pocket on the back deliver a superior, highly engineered aesthetic that is functional and attractive.
The Endurance trainer, also pictured, has a sophisticated silhouette crafted of a one-piece mesh upper with reflective underlays for enhanced comfort during training. Boasting two renowned adidas innovations; the grip-enhancing Continental™ Rubber outsole and energy returning BOOST™ technology, it features the best of both worlds.

Day two: Stretching on one of Berlin’s tallest rooftops
At the Weekend club by Alexanderplatz we were treated to a durability challenged under the ruthless Berlin sun. The training essentials tested during this activity included the modern and technical ODT Shorts and ODT T-shirt – both crafted of smart, breathable, moisture-control fabric, and finished with reflective elements for enhanced style and purpose. Completing the Outdoor Training look are the PDS UltraBOOST – a fusion of cutting-edge footwear technology and sleek design. It includes an expandable adidas Primeknit upper for enhanced comfort and reduced irritation, an energy-returning BOOST™ midsole and a highly textured rubber outsole for advanced grip. Of course these also feature reflective branding and yarn guarantee that style is never compromised, after all we were in Berlin.
