Throughout the years, the non-gender, non-demographic clothing line 69 has gained a dedicated following thanks to its innovative denim silhouettes and creative online lookbooks. Therefore, it comes as no surprise that the label’s new collaboration with Print All Over Me (PAOM) presents each design in a seriously outstanding way. Together with Kokowa, a website that allows the quick and easy construction of virtual 3D surroundings, the duo has created an outlandish VR lookbook that will make the hearts of Vaporwave enthusiasts beat faster.
Even without a pair of VR goggles, it’s still easy to see why this collab with PAOM is so innovative. For the first time, 69 ditches the denim fabric that the brand has become known for, working instead with fair-trade cotton provided by the customisation and retail platform. However, 69 has stayed true to its signature-style silhouettes, including an airy wrap cocoon dress, a square cropped button up shirt and pleated dad trousers in the collection. As of now, all of the pieces are available in three different prints, and in accordance with PAOM’s collaborative approach to design, customers will soon be able to add their own prints to the pieces and order their unique creations via PAOM.com.
