The Marni 2016 Pre-Fall collection sticks to the label’s winning formula of bringing opposites together. Angularity and pointy hems are combined with smooth furs and soft pom pom detailing – showcasing the designer’s dynamic feminism at its best. The bellowing skirts and baggy trousers accented with crisp shirts and draping capes give a nod to the chillier seasons, while the lighter fabric printed dresses along with the colour blocked pants and trenches are reminiscent of the soon to be gone spring.
