Raf Simons has dropped its SS17 campaign with a series of images shot by renowned Belgian photographer Willy Vanderperre and styled by Olivier Rizzo.
The collection features Robert Mapplethorpe’s black and white artworks printed upon the garments accessorised by leather caps and belts tied around the neck. The pieces were first revealed during Pitti Uomo in Florence last summer. Mapplethorpe’s monochromatic images explore themes of sexuality and homoeroticism, both of which have stirred up controversy in the past. The collection also features delicate still life photographs of flowers.
Simons’ fans are advised to hold tight, though, as the collection still has a few weeks until its available for purchase. In the meantime, you can view the entire lookbook below.
