When Berlin Fashion Week takes place, the city is buzzing once again: runway shows, events, ubers. Stylish fashion people with long coats, high heels, and a lot of hairspray, running down the street, while the wind is destroying their carefully styled hair. That means hats grow larger, scarves become cozier, and despite the gray weather, sunglasses emerge in all their dark and extravagant glory. Since 2007, Berlin Fashion Week has offered creatives from all over Europe a platform to connect, to showcase, and to support.
In this whirlwind of fashion fervor, SLEEK had the opportunity to partner with Kia, offering a smooth solution to the weary feet of fashion enthusiasts. Cruising through the bustling streets in the Kia EV6 in vibrant runway red, SLEEK embarked on a journey to the most awaited fashion shows, including SF1OG, Richert Beil, Olivia Ballard, and Marke, ensuring swift and stylish transportation for front-row and backstage access to the latest trends and designs.
As Kia’s first model exclusively designed for battery power, the EV6 boasts an impressive range of up to 528 kilometers and can be charged from 10 to 80 percent in just around 18 minutes: Thanks to these advanced technologies, SLEEK had the opportunity to explore Berlin and its colorful events non-stop. The EV6’s charging points also offered our team, to freshen up their styling in between – no matter if that meant using a hair straightener, a curling iron, or (absolutely necessary at BFW) charging your phone. With the curved panoramic display, optional “Premium Relaxation Seats” and a Meridian® sound system, the EV6 enabled a comfortable lifestyle journey from show to show.
Rooted in Kia’s new philosophy of “Opposites United,” the vehicle’s design harmonizes the contrasts between humanity and nature. Sustainability is further underscored by high-quality, eco-conscious materials and the V2L function (Vehicle-to-Load), transforming the EV6 into a mobile power bank capable of charging external devices like laptops and e-bikes.
After four days of revving up in style, SLEEK uniquely experienced Berlin Fashion Week, building up networks, getting inspired by surroundings, creative minds, and trends while the loyal EV6 combined everything our team has hoped for: luxury, sustainability, a spacious interior, and various assisting technologies.
