On Friday night Sleek Art hosted its first group exhibition featuring artist photographers from the online gallery. The event was part of Form Follows Funktion, a series of events held at the Kreuzberg institution that Prince Charles is, featuring international artists of two major movements: contemporary art and advanced music.
Spanning the fields of fashion, fine art, nudity and portraiture, the Sleek Art artists included Ayzit Bostan + Fabian Frinzel, Stephanie Pfænder, Claudia Klein and Stefan Dotter. On the music side we had no less than Panorama-Bar-resident Oskar Offermann, Portable, Juju & Jordash and Spanks.

The party started early evening with the usual after-work aperitivos and Aperol spritz flowing like a treat. The artworks covering the walls, from portraiture to nudes to abstract, added the edge that complemented the jovial mood and the architecture of the venue, which was once a swimming pool. At 11pm Berlin-legend Oskar Offermann opened his set to packed dance floor churning out Berghain-inspired dance moves until the wee hours of Saturday morning.
Special thanks to WhiteWall for printing and framing the artworks.
