Hannah Sophie Dunkelberg’s works transformed SLEEK ART SPACE on Thursday, 20th November, into a space where material, process, and subtle disruptions met. Artists, curators, editors, and art lovers gathered for an evening of discovery, conversation, and curiosity.
In Dunkelberg’s pieces, playful forms and colors meet industrial techniques, forging a space where the heavy and the whimsical coexist. Symbols of femininity and girlishness quietly interrogate patriarchal structures. The subtle disturbances her art produces linger long after the viewer leaves the gallery, prompting reflection and conversation.
Her reliefs hover between abstraction and the tangible, revealing traces of making that feel alive and ongoing. Every screw mark, tape line, and glue residue tells part of the story. Materiality, and a playful mix of heavy and whimsical forms guide the viewer through subtle tensions between what is real and what is imagined. The works leave a trace – not loud, not forced, but lingering in your mind, inviting reflection.
Beyond the physical works, visitors had the chance to become part of Universal Profile × SLEEK. This is a new kind of digital identity, hosted on the LUKSO blockchain, where collectors can securely own digital editions, experiences, and access opportunities linked to the exhibition. For example the artists work “Spazzi No. 6″ is available exclusively through Universal Profiles, including a private dinner with Hannah Sophie Dunkelberg and SLEEK publisher Christian Bracht. Physical art, digital ownership, and real-life connection – all in one experience.
The exhibition shows what the future of cultural identity can look like: hybrid, meaningful, and in the hands of those who care about it. SLEEK and LUKSO are inviting visitors to explore, collect, and shape this space.
