Over on Sleek-Art.Net, we’re getting strictly personal this weekend through the Gallery Weekend Studio Visit series. Each day, you’ll get the chance meet a different Sleek-approved artist in their Berlin-based studio.

On Friday, take a field trip to Berlin-Lichtenberg to meet with the queen of resin, Louise Gibson. Originally from Scotland, the Berlin Art Prize and BLOOOM Award finalist has made the most of her first year in Berlin (watch a video of Sleek’s studio visit below).

Artist and writer Tomasz Kobialka will be hosting the second visit of the series on Saturday 2 May. Meet the Berlin-based mixed-media artist who uses medieval oil paint recipes to propose new ecological understandings.

For the series’ finale on Sunday, painter Nick Jeffrey will be hosting a tour of his project space, ideal uh-huh. Existing both digitally and physically, Jeffrey aims to challenge the traditions and agendas of a commercial gallery prototype.

As attendance is limited for each event, RSVP today by emailing the Sleek-Art team at corinna@sleekmag.com. Find more information on Sleek-Art.Net.
