SLEEK Clubnight with Anja Schneider

Last Thursday, our team was joined by a long guest list of old friends and new acquaintances at the recurring SLEEK Clubnight party. The event took place on the same week as our 81st issue went to press, giving us a lot of reason to celebrate. After months of hard work, the long-awaited issue is finally finished, packed with fashion inspiration and legendary cover stars: from fashion designer Michèle Lamy to athletes David Alaba and Thomas Müller. Some of this issue’s features joined to celebrate with us, including a group of Germany’s Next Top Model contenders, who did an office-themed photoshoot with us as part of their competition in the show. Hundreds of celebrities, influencers, and friends of the magazine were also in attendence, there to share an incredible evening that captured the essence of SLEEK’s excitement for the release of this new issue.

Most of our invitees coordinated with black-and-white outfits, ready to get sweaty and let loose to the sounds of DJ Anja Schneider and DJ Lewin Paul Schulte. Guests let their personal style shine through, with club-ready looks ranging from cutout mini dresses to cargo pants. Some of the night’s best dressed were photographed by Marian Enderlein, who also captured the carefree, buzzing vibe of the SLEEK gathering. As usual, SLEEK has Hotel Telegrafenamt to thank for an unforgettable venue: the basement boiler room perfect for a DJ set, dancing, and tasting the bar’s custom drinks menu.

SLEEK’s Clubnight was graced by techno music icon Anja Schneider, a Berlin-based artist who has maintained her star status for nearly twenty years. After working as a radio host and producer in the 90s, Schneider co-founded her own  label “Mobilee Records”, subsequently becoming a major player in the Berlin techno and house music scene. Over the past two decades, Schneider has played at clubs across the world, including Berlin’s prized club Berghain, DC10 in Ibiza, Movement in Detroit, and at the Sonar Festival in Barcelona. Currently, Schneider is celebrating her years of changing the techno scene with an event series PuMp as well as working on her new label Sous Music. Joining DJ Anja Schneider on this special evening was DJ Lewin Paul, an electronic artist and co-founder of Set in Motion Berlin. The two techno wizards conducted the energy of the crowd with carefully selected tracks and high energy live performance.
