Want an amazing restaurant recommendation when you’re visiting Prague? We did too and asked artist Katerina Vorlova after our interview. Without a second of hesitation she urged us to go to Clear Head, an open-kitchen vegetarian restaurant located on the shortest street in Prague just around the corner from the river. The restaurant is hard to spot not only because it is tucked away on an inconspicuous side street but because there is no obvious sign on the building that dates back the the 15th century.

Once you stumble upon it and push through the ancient door you find yourself in an inner courtyard  decorated with bamboo trees and flowery wallpaper with an age-old fountain protruding from its wall. The room next door boasts an open-kitchen with a wraparound counter where one can watch cooks prepare deliciously nutritious international vegetarian food such as beetroot burgers, cheddar quesadilla or vegetable kebabs. The interior decoration is as much impressive as the ever changing menu with one of the two dining rooms is painted entirely in blue with the ceiling covered in hundreds of sparkling stars. A free-form white fireplace that looks somewhat like a space shuttle will keep you warm before heading to the near-by Charles bridge – the most famous of European bridges.
