Sleek x mb! by Mercedes-Benz: most haunted in Pluckley

We had left Berlin for Amsterdam, Antwerp and London with a clear idea of what we were looking for: the newest, hottest fashion designers. So, how did we end up in Pluckley, said to be the UK’s most haunted town, minutes before midnight in search of ghosts? As we twisted around the town’s narrow, inky, labyrinthine lanes, photographer Maxime told us about Pluckley’s tortured character and how he was hoping to catch some of it on film: maybe human skulls speared on the fence of a railway station, a screaming ghost who lives in the woods, a haunted church and the ghost of a hung schoolmaster. And those are only half the stories that are being told about Pluckley – there is a reason why it was named Britain’s most haunted town by the Guinness Book of World Records.

We parked the car in front of a community center, where immediately we saw a shadow rush past a window. We grabbed some flashlights and took to the road full of twists and turns and then walked towards Screaming Woods and then… well, we turned back and headed to the safety of our Mercedes-Benz. Better to stick with hunting fashion designers.
