SLEEK x Vagabund: A Toast to Berlinale

Celebrity sightings, red carpets, and the allure of the silver screen signaled the arrival of the 75th Berlinale. While all eyes were on Kylie Jenner and Timothée Chalamet, cinephiles immersed themselves in the festival’s offerings—Tom Tykwer’s The Light set the tone as the opening film, while the highly anticipated Hot Milk and Mickey 17 kept audiences captivated.

This was the perfect moment for SLEEK to join the Berlinale celebrations, hosting an intimate gathering at our SLEEK Art Space. In collaboration with Vagabund, the independent Berlin brewery, the evening paid homage to the city—a tribute to its cultural pulse and restless creative energy.

Perched on the 14th floor above Alexanderplatz, the space has become a place of quiet awe. Each arrival is met with the city lights stretching infinitely, reflections of Berlin’s cinematic spirit flickering in every window. As the sun slipped behind the Fernsehturm, the evening unfolded—an escape from the relentless festival pace to exchange. Conversations drifted between film, art, and the rhythms of the city, a collective moment of reflection amid the intensity of Berlinale.

Vagabund kept glasses filled—an independent Berlin brewery crafting beers that, much like the films of Berlinale, tell their own stories. Between sips of crisp Pils, smooth Helles, classic Weizen, and bold IPAs, guests found their drinks as layered as their discussions. With a beer in hand and an open mind, the evening blurred into something timeless—an ode to Berlin, to cinema, to the stories that bring us together.
