Expanding our creative vision together, SLEEK is proud to announce the collaboration with ZOEPPRITZ, the German textile house, whose story began more than 200 years ago with the brothers Jacob & Georg Zoeppritz and a shared vision: to enrich people’s lives with high-quality textiles. Today the company is the oldest weaving mill in Europe, continuing their legacy of heritage, quality and passion.

To make the vision of SLEEK x ZOEPPRITZ come to life, artists Josh Wilks and Sebastian Zimmerhackl were invited to reinterpret the world of textiles with their own eyes. Influenced by film and storytelling, self-taught photographer Joshua Wilks creates dramatic, experimental narratives that exceed the realms of fashion photography. Therefore, each work is allowed endless creative freedom, setting the focus on the meaning each piece holds while a highly sexualised sense of humor surprises with an interesting twist.

Approaching the subject of how to create art in our digital age, 360° creative technologist Sebastian Zimmerhackl uses the interconnectedness of the internet as the key medium of his work. Not denying but rather reinforcing the significance of the internet today, he is hyper-aware of the technologies used around the world and uses his art as an outlet to comment on different movements; acting as a disruptive memetician. Zimmerhackl never logs off, keeping the corners of the internet illuminated with radical imagination.
