Although we might be half-way through July already, it’s safe to say that summer 2020 is not the summer you imagined. As the coronavirus crisis wages on, our calendars remain sparsely populated—summer holidays abroad are a no-go this year, as are family weddings, outdoor concerts and festivals. Despite the sobering statistics, however, we are determined to make the most of the situation, and enjoy our summers, even if that means staying at home.

For the second instalment in our stay-home guide to summer dressing with Outletcity Metzingen, we are planning looks for leisurely, low-key weekends. These are easy-going ‘fits for lounging with a book in the park, casual ensembles for afternoon dates and slouchy suits for Sunday strolls around your neighbourhood. Featuring Hugo Boss, Tory Burch and Salvatore Ferragamo, your calendar might be lacklustre but that doesn’t mean your wardrobe has to be.
