Graffiti is as much a part of Berlin’s DNA as Currywurst and techno, so it comes as no surprise that an exhibition from abroad and centered around street art and the talent behind it has made its way to the German capital.
“The Graffiti Life” is a London-based institution that is devoted to street art, and for three days this week, will pop-up in Berlin’s Torstrasse. The independent space, whose headquarters are located in London’s version of Berlin (Shoreditch) will showcase a multidisciplinary team of street artists, illustrators, graphic and interior designers, graffiti artists and more, in a space that enables their work to be seen in a surrounding not usually associated with street art.
Brought to Berlin by VisitBritain and Hostelworld.com, “The Graffiti Life” will exhibit both in-house and independent artists such as Benjamin Badbones, Creeps, Darren John, Curtis Hylton and Gent48. There will also be an added surprise at the three day event for guests who registers at www.letmetakeyoutolondon.co.uk.
