Strip Club to Sunbed: Berlin-based Ferrari Concept SS17

Licensed and inspired by arguably the sexiest car of all time, newcomer Ferrari Concept lived up to its namesake when they debuted last February in the American Dream strip club  during Paris fashion week.
The second season had a lot to live up to, and it didn’t disappoint. The low-fi location in Paris’s edgy district Belleville took show-goers way off the map, and into the depths of a warehouse, complete with techno, and an army of models luxuriating in the blue glow of sunbeds.
Contrary to the techno-soundtrack and Berlin crowd, the American creative director Paige Horinek insists although the production is based in the German capital, “We are not ‘Berlin brand” she says, rather “We have the spirit of Berlin”. She is pleased with the progress saying “We wanted to develop on last season, that was just a capsule, we have continued with the Ferrari-inspired primary colours, and the gender-neutral designs”.
Here are the highlights from the collection entitled: ‘Isn’t everything we do in life a way to be loved a little more?‘ shot by Nico Stinghe.
