SUCUK UND BRATWURST is a creative studio based in Berlin and run by Alessandro Belliero, David Gönner, Denis Olgac, and Lukas Olgac.
“Creativity is like a database of memories and experiences you have access to. It’s the way you connect these moments. Sometimes this happens consciously, and sometimes subconsciously, in creating something new.
The result might remain an idea, or it might take shape as an action, an artwork, or simply in the way you move through life situations. We believe creativity isn’t limited to a profession. Someone working in finance can be just as creative as someone making art.
Most importantly, creativity doesn’t exist in isolation. It needs others to create those moments with you that become part of your database. It grows through exchange, sharing ideas, emotions, and perspectives with the people around us.
These exchanges and experiences are also the most valuable things when it comes to our own work. As a collective, each of us draws on the things we share with each other, the things we have been through together, and exchanged between us.
Our work – digitally and physically – plays with feelings of nostalgia, in reminiscence of our shared childhood and all the good memories we’ve gathered.”
