The Half-Moon Shades
How do you make last year’s must-have-trend the cat-eye sunnies cooler? Introducing the half-moon shades: sunglasses that are actively designed to encourage the wearer to peer snootily over the tops. What’s more bad-ass than that? Our favorites? The RiRi-approved brand Pawaka, brainchild of our current Insta-girl-crush: the Berlin-based, Indtsigner, model, actress, and environmental activist Fahrani Empel.

The Fashion Tube Socks
Tube socks (worn with sneakers) are already our hot-weather go-to. Inspired by last week’s Gucci cruise show—where the models wore them with everything from ladylike Mary Janes to leather miniskirts—we are working the humble gym sock into all of our outfits, starting today.

The Pool Toys
Yes, you read that right. For those who style their Insta-feed meticulously, take cues from the Coachella crew and invest in bright, ironic pool floats (we at SLEEK are not condoning this behaviour BTW).

The Awk-heel
A non-fashion friend of ours once mused that the reason all the girls in the industry are bitches, is because they are in constant pain from wearing vertiginous high-heels. This may be true, but as one of the aforementioned bitches, we can confirm that this season’s awkward mid-heel–championed by Alexa Chung–is a welcome relief to our soles (and souls).

The Ballet Bag
The last time you lusted after a pink circle-case, it was 1993 and you needed it to carry your tap-shoes in. Thanks to cult-accessories designer Mansur Gavriel—favourite of Solange, and every other girl you want to be—you need to get ready to want one desperately again. Good news is if you feel like you have grown out of pepto-pink, they come in equally luscious tones like sand, or tomato-red.
