For the Acne Studios SS16 men’s collection, the Stockholm brand invited surfer Robin Kegel to develop the graphic prints similar to those he uses on surfboards. The trippy prints appear on jumpsuits as well as cashmere sweaters that have been purposefully pilled, as if worn everyday by someone who’s just come out of the surf. Photographed by David Sims, this is the first time Acne Studios presents a men’s collection in a campaign. “The images were shot in Robin’s studio in Biarritz with Sims, who is also a surfer,” says creative Director, Jonny Johansson. “I’m obsessed with surfing”.
