Sweat – A Way of Life

Street style meets manga meets aerobics class from the 80s meets alien universe.
The idea was inspired by the 80s aerobic outfits using Realise swimsuits as starting point.
It creates its very own aesthetic contrasting childlike kawaii colours and a very masculine-feel 80s leather jacket. Here there’s a bunny and heart stickers but it sits on the barrel of a shotgun. So how dangerous can it be?!

Metallic materials and the loud make-up palette march the sweaty gleam of the model’s skin. The style is colourful, athletic, rough but nevertheless playful.
Inspired by the Neon Genesis Evangelion character Misato Katsuragis and Japanese 80s aesthetic, it’s powerful, the word we are looking for. Misato Katsuragi gives orders and conveys battle strategies in comics. She is s fighter as is the model, it seems. A street fighter and the fighter who challenges her own body in a workout. To the battle stations!

Sweat is our natural cooler when we heat up. A sweaty body after a workout battle looks healthy, strong and glowing. Accepting and even loving the challenge is a way of life and a mindset. You against you.
The looks are hot and so very cool at the same time. You don’t want to mess with the woman carrying a shotgun, having the style and pulling the strings on the battlefield.
She works hard and plays hard.
