Diesel unveils its new campaign shot by Terry Richardson today in Japan.
Alongside the new imagery, the brand celebrates 30 years in Japan with a see-now-buy-now AW16 catwalk show, shoppable online, an archive exhibition and an exclusive special ready-to-wear collection.
The Japan project was created under the direction of artistic director Nicola Formichetti, who also carefully curated the selection of archive Diesel looks from 1978 to today presentation.
The Diesel founder Renzo Rosso wanted to highlight just how important Japan has been for them – “I visit the country regularly, as do our design team. This special anniversary is dedicated to Diesel’s Japanese supporters, who always push us to do more and better.”
