The organisers of Half-life describe themselves as a “newly formed collective dedicated to the resettlement of trance culture in urban centers.” Join the crew at Acud Macht Neu as seven artists spin your favourite trance tunes under the familiar glow of a – hopefully ironic – lava lamp. The line-up of DJs includes Zenith, Dario X, Linda Lee, Gabia D’Jora, Adam Kaplan and Tearz.

Writer, artist and educator A Rawlings will do a live reading of her recent works published by Broken Dimanche Press, including “The Great White North” and “In Memory: Jökull.” The Icelandic resident’s live performances are a sensual improvisation that form an interrogation on human and non-human empathy.

Last Chance: “Tokens”

A group exhibition focusing on symbols, “Tokens” raises questions regarding the learned and inherited meanings associated with certain imagery.
