In this exclusive editorial for SLEEK, Berlin-based photographer Nina Raasch has teamed up with stylist Charlotte Gindreau and performance artist Patrick Jambon for a playful spring fashion story inspired by Jambon’s practice. Jambon’s work hinges on public intervention and presence: he frequently turns up at gallery openings in Berlin decked out in strange structures in what he describes as “portable installations”. At such public events, he assumes the role of a passive spectator, while at the same time using video games and other objects and technology to interact with the crowd.
In this editorial, the artist is photographed with a variety of props that position his practice as fun, surreal and entertainingly disruptive — just like his performances.
