Following two successful shows in 2012, AUDI once again creates an opportunity for upcoming design students to promote themselves and showcase their innovative visions at the AUDI Fashion Award 2013. Students from the northern states of Germany (Hamburg, Lower Saxony and Schleswig-Holstein) will compete in four categories, demonstrating their technical, design, and creative skills.
This year, the judges making the big decisions will be made up of the brands Closed, Escada, Vaude, and Barre Noire, who each will support and award the emerging talents in one of the following categories; Modern Icons, Active Technology, Beyond Today and Sophisticated Elegance. Contestants will get a chance to showcase their personal views and aesthetics, whilst being judged on their unique ideas, innovative strengths and intuitive fashion-forward thinking. The four finalists will then get the opportunity to present their real-life designs at a fashion show in Hamburg.
As well as seeing their looks walk down the runway and new found public exposure, the winners will also receive cash prizes of 2000€, an internship at one of the patron brands and an Audi A1 to use for one month.
