Set in the backdrop of rich, blood red that is synonymous with the Italian house Ferragamo, the former LVMH Prize contender and Fashion East alumni made his debut as the new Creative Director at Milan Fashion Week. The show was held in the palace of the former Archbishop’s Seminary of Milan, a historic model of Baroque and Neoclassical architecture, and the designer paid tribute to the founding designer Salvatore and the culture of Hollywood. As Davis explains, the collection is the new Hollywood – “[it’s] ease and sensuality; its sunset and sunrise.” Click through the gallery for the best looks from Ferragamo SS23.
