Vincent Fournier introduces his upcoming exhibition, entitled “Brasilia,” by documenting what we once knew as the man-made city of concrete and modernist architecture. He presents images of Oscar Niemeyer’s work which slightly resembles vacated film sets from Jacques Tati’s 1967 French comedy “Playtime.” Fournier’s simple compositions are elegant and refined, the images allow the viewers to revaluate each iconic construction. The artist’s work highlights the sophistication and detail of the designer’s practice.
