The Italian brand unveils a new website that’s a lifestyle in itself
From the moment Alessandro Michele took the reigns at the Italian house last year, the fashion crowd have been Gucci-obsessed. Praise usually reserved for Miuccia Prada has been lavished on Michele’s kaleidoscope of colour and texture. Out with the slick sexed-up Gucci girls honed by his predecessors, Frida Giannini and Tom Ford; in with Michele’s parade of fabulous Gucci geeks who get their magpie inspiration from literature, history, art and their Instagram feed. To complete the makeover, the brand has unveiled a fully redesigned site packed with exclusive features for the new Gucci geek squad to swot up on everything about their favourite brand. This new website, which was first launched in the US and Canada August last year, is now fully available to Gucci fans in Europe and UAE.
5 features that raise the fashion bar
1 – “The Agenda” is Gucci’s new magazine section, expect to find details like a “story of a dress” documenting the first flicker of an idea, through to the runway piece, to news on exclusive collaborations with artists. Our advice, bookmark immediately!
