“Plato” by Carven x No Name
In case you’re looking for something both spring-like and thoughtful, these “Plato” sneakers are a collaboration between the much-loved Parisian maison Carven and shoemaker No Name. They are said to embody the Nineties, which is a major preoccupation of Carven’s Guillaume Henry, and come with a wedge heel and pretty blue flower motif. A limited edition of 600 pairs is available from Paris concept store The Broken Arm and Carven outlets priced €140. “You can discover more about a person in an hour of play than in a year of conversation,” the great philosopher said. The same is probably true for these wonderful kicks.
