Thinking about our current situation and the elasticity of time, we are all looking forward, waiting for present circumstances to change. This selection of photographs express gestures of small performance within the passing of time. They suggest anticipation and in some cases, suspense about what will come next. These moments remind ourselves that time is not rigid and unyielding.
In the sequencing, I thought about the ebb and flow of emotions, starting with Nora Turato captured by Image Group, and ending on a photograph by Spanish image-maker Carlota Guerrero, an uplifting image that simply radiates.”
