FEMALE GAZE 2025: International Choreographers Challenge Traditional Perspectives at Schinkel Pavillon
Carolin Brandl curates an international lineup featuring Cecilia Bengolea, nasa4nasa, La Ribot, Göksu Kunak, and Lenio Kaklea in a multidisciplinary showcase of video, sound, and sculpture. The second edition spans generations from performance icon La Ribot to emerging voices like nasa4nasa, with all works making their German debuts.
Each piece interrogates the traditional “male gaze” through experimental choreographic approaches, exploring body representation and viewing relationships. Drawing from diverse contexts across Argentina, Egypt, Spain, Turkey, and Greece, FEMALE GAZE 2025 creates shared spaces where performers and audiences engage with multiple perspectives simultaneously.
