Versace and Prada show shades of fur, fluff and feathers at Milan Fashion Week Men’s

Eccentric textures were the go-to accent pieces in Milan as Versace and Prada sent looks featuring neon faux fur and feather accents down the catwalk for AW19. Despite the wave of designers including Donatella Versace, John Galliano and Alessandro Michele that have ditched real pelts in the past years, this winter has seen the fun fur aesthetic become more popular than ever with synthetic pelts ranging from cropped leopard print styles to ankle-length technicolor coats taking to the streets. Judging by the Milan men’s runways, the trend will continue, but with a more strategic touch, working to play off of more refined textures. Here are three of our favourite styling combinations from the Milan Fashion Week Men’s:

1. Neon feathers and unserious suiting

2. Coordinating hair and coats

3. Furry hats and matching sweaters
