Berlin’s favourite Scandi brand WEEKDAY is set to drop their latest and very limited Press Collection for spring/summer 2017 on Thursday. Inspired by the powerful visual language and work of contemporary artist and photographer Jackie Nickerson, the collection embodies her powerful portraits of people and their environment through sculptural forms and technical materials.
In keeping with the WEEKDAY aesthetic, the SS17 collection plays strongly with the relationship between originality and functionality. Technical materials such as coated twill form sculptural shapes while lighter fabrics keep the collection youthful. In addition, a colourful range of WEEKDAY’s first sustainable swimwear will be available for your summer spent by the Berlin lakes.
