Wiebke Bosse’s passion for photography is both a calling and a gift. This dedication to getting the perfect snap can be seen in the extravagant style of every photo, evoking the elegant glamour of both Richard Avedon and Diana Vreeland. Spending up to three months planning before each shot, her profession has seen her travel all the way from Rome to Sri Lanka. Wiebke’s photographs can be seen to reference the chic look of the Twenties, the irony of Surrealism or Helmut Newton’s sensuality. Despite all this, what she values in photography most is candour and straightforwardness. This is what gives her photos their unique and striking quality.
