Charlotte Guder offered the perfect opening to Berlin Fashion Week.
From the outside, the venue appeared almost unassuming. Stepping inside, however, revealed an entirely different world. The location, Martin Eder’s Yves Klein blue living room unfolded into a beautifully curated setting, where carefully chosen details evoked an unmistakable Italian atmosphere. Friends, creatives, and fashion insiders gathered in animated conversation as Martini cocktails were served throughout the room. Glasses were raised, laughter echoed between the walls, and the anticipation of the week ahead was palpable in every corner. It was an evening defined by effortless elegance and a shared sense of excitement.
As the show began, the Italian spirit became more and more present. Each of the fifteen models told a different story, accompanied by a carefully chosen song that shaped the mood of every skirt, every shoe, and every long dress. The collection unfolded like a peaceful summer day, beginning with relaxed morning looks before gradually transitioning into elegant evening silhouettes. Therefore, each appearance felt like another chapter, drawing the audience deeper into the story from the first look to the last.
Even when the final look had passed, the experience continued: The models stepped off the runway and joined the guests, giving everyone the opportunity to admire the craftsmanship, fabrics, and intricate details of the collection up close, while conversations continued throughout the evening.
