Mykki Blanco has released a music video for his first single, an upbeat track entitled “Loner” that features Jean Deaux. In addition to being a surefire hit at your next house party, the seizure-inducing clip boasts a seriously eclectic crew of creatives. At the helm of fashion is Nicola Formichetti, the artistic director behind Italian label Diesel, who dresses the cast in a wardrobe that includes Nicopanda as well as fetishwear favourites like Creepyyeha and Zana Bayne. Taking the crown for most surprising collaborator, however, is PornHub, which worked alongside Blanco to produce all the madness.
Directed by Anthony and Alex, the video features Blanco with a crowd of VR headset-clad extras all feeling up on themselves. Despite mild suggestive behaviour, however, the video as a whole is fairly tame considering PornHub’s involvement. This partnership marks a surprising shift for the website, which recently teamed up with Hood by Air for the label’s latest NYFW presentation. As the adult streaming service continues to dip its toes in ventures beyond the NSFW variety, only time will tell what the site has planned next.
